2013 ‘Black Achiever in Industry’
On March 13, 2013, the YMCA of Harlem honored Michele as a top ‘Black Achiever in Industry’.
2012 ’25 Influential Women in Business’
On March 22, 2012, Michele joined 24 other women from around the U.S. in being recognized as one of 25 Influential Black Women in Business, by the business publication The Network Journal. Winners of this prestigious annual award are chosen because of their outstanding achievement, contribution to leadership, and influence in the corporate and/or entrepreneurial arenas, along with their service to the African-American community.
2012 ‘Women of Power’
On March 10, 2012, Michele was honored with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Pennsylvania Chapter’s inaugural ‘Women of Power’ award at the 26th Annual Madame CJ Walker Luncheon.
2010 Woman of Distinction
In December 2010, Michele joined 24 other area business women in receiving the prestigious ‘Women of Distinction’ honor from the Philadelphia Business Journal. The Philadelphia Business Journal’s ‘Women of Distinction’ are selected as the top female leaders in their respective fields based on professional achievement, awards, milestones and community involvement.
2nd Annual ‘Women on the Move’
In May 2010, Michele was chosen by Tribune Magazine as one of 10 ‘Women on the Move’ – a salute to African American women and their achievements. ‘Women on the Move’ is an opportunity for The Philadelphia Tribune and its accompanying magazine, Tribune, to honor women who have made their mark in corporate America.
New Jersey Chapter of Urban Financial Services (USF) Honored as ‘Chapter of the Year’
In 2004, the New Jersey chapter of Urban Financial Services, under Michele’s leadership as President, received ‘Chapter of the Year’ honors from the national body.
